HOW ABOUT LAWN BOWLING?

Here’s a chance to learn more about this gentle and very social sport. It’s like curling on grass, but without the sweeping! Come out for an informative lesson and to try your hand at bowling an end or two.
This is a private event for Lake Country PROBUS Club, so no need to be shy!
All you need is a pair of flat shoes or runners (no stilettos please), water, a hat, sunglasses, and … don’t forget your sunscreen. Bowls will be on loan from the Club and we have aids to ensure those with hip, back, or knee mobility issues can participate as well. So why not come out and try something new?
